My Home Office

Where I go when my fingers and my brain agree that it’s time to write.

I love your office! I love how fun and colorful it is, and that chandelier- amazing!

    • Thank you so much! I actually recently swapped that DIY chandelier with a much nicer splurge (yay Christmas gifts!) and like the new one even more. 🙂 Next on my redo list is building a standing desk!

I love your office. If you knew what a design freak/writer I am, well, I’ll just prove it to you. Can you tell me if the stipes on the wall were one of your DIY projects? (I do love the chandelier, as well.) It is a very well organized office and filled with stories, of all kinds. Every author should have a ribbon-threaded typewriter in their office, that one looks like it has a dark side, sitting amongst your bright white, well organized shelves.
Can you tell that I am using you as a treat via the Pomodoro technique during my writing? Read your submission in six sentences and was blown away!
Thanks again and best to you.

    • 🙂 Thank you, Lee! The stripes were a DIY, actually! I used the same paint color, but one in matte and one in semi-gloss. It’s a subtle effect that I still haven’t gotten tired of! And I love that typewriter as well; it was my dad’s, and I remember play-typing on it every time we visited his office at work. I also like that it looks like it has a dark side, as that suits the horror writer in me quite well. 😉

I love that you took the time to flip through my album! Thank you so much for the visit and the kind words. And about my Six Sentences post too; I hadn’t thought of that one in a long time. I hope you have a wonderful day!

I’ve always loved your office with it’s view into the backyard with the huge old tree! I especially adore the photo of Buttons & Snaps looking out the window:)

Love the new pictures! Super cute bookshelves too (and assistants)!
